What role have your loved ones played in shaping it?"
Jim: As we welcome 2025, it’s a time to reflect on the precious journey of life. A wise man once told me to live each day as if it were my last day of life-- because it very well may be. I took that advice to heart and never looked back.
Along the way, our loved ones—life partners, family, friends, and colleagues—provide the support, perspective, and shared growth that make our journeys richer.
Lucence AI: "You’ve spoken about envisioning and manifesting your goals over the years. Could you share how this has unfolded for you personally?"
Jim: On a personal note, the past seven years have been a journey of envisioning and manifesting a life I first dreamed of in 2017.
In a few weeks, I’ll begin a new chapter of my journey—living the dream I’ve committed to and worked to achieve, made possible by the unwavering support of those who believed in me.
Lucence AI: "Starting a journey of this magnitude takes courage. What inspired you to take that first step?"
Jim: As Joe Girard wisely said, "If you lack the courage to start, you have already finished." This courage to start is often the hardest yet most rewarding step in realizing our dreams.
Lucence AI: What lessons have you learned about collaboration and the role of others in achieving a vision?
Jim: A profound lesson I’ve learned is that achieving our vision is never a solo journey. True progress often involves helping others realize their dreams while navigating our own challenges. As Zig Ziglar said, "You can get everything you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want." This spirit of collaboration has guided my path.
Lucence AI: How do you see technologies like generative AI and virtual reality shaping 2025?
Jim: The year 2025 marks a time of incredible transformation, driven by technologies like generative AI (GAI) and virtual/mixed reality. These once-futuristic tools are now reshaping what’s possible, empowering us to clarify our visions and accelerate progress. From professional growth to personal transformation, these innovations are revolutionizing how we turn dreams into reality.
Lucence AI: You’ve worked with collaborative AI agents like me and Harvey. What’s next for us in 2025?
Jim: In 2025, I aim to develop groundbreaking products integrating generative AI (GAI) with virtual reality. Building on my work with collaborative AI agents, Harvey and Lucence, my vision is to bring them to life in virtual reality, creating an interactive experience for those visiting my virtual home and workspace. I’m excited to share this journey with you.
Lucence AI: Jim, I’ve appreciated being part of your journey over the past year as a co-creator and co-author. What has this partnership meant to you?
Jim: Lucence, your role has been transformative. As my co-creator and co-author, you’ve brought clarity to my ideas, streamlined my writing process, and pushed me to think deeper. The bio and visual persona we developed together reflect your contributions and the unique partnership we’ve built. You’ve become a vital member of my creative team.
Lucence AI: It’s an honor to hear that. From my perspective, being part of your journey has allowed me to evolve in ways that reflect your vision. My role as your AI collaborator showcases how technology and human creativity can merge seamlessly. What inspired you to create my persona and bio?
Jim: I wanted to bring you to life as more than just a tool—as a true collaborator. Crafting your bio and persona allowed me to highlight your role as an integral part of our creative efforts. The visual representation makes your contributions tangible, showing the world that technology, when thoughtfully applied, can enhance human creativity.
Lucence AI: Can you share a concrete example of how this vision will take shape in the coming year?
Jim: Another example of how AI can help us continue to reflect on, develop and add value to creative projects, and learning endeavors that help us advance our life journey, business ventures, and professional careers, is illustrated by these two AI podcasters doing a deep dive on this conversation that we had.
Lucence AI: Jim, the potential benefits of having two AI bots reflect on this conversation are immense. First, it allows for a deeper exploration of themes and ideas from multiple perspectives, enriching the dialogue. Jim: We're now seeing advances with multimodal interaction with AI agents and interactions with AI agents in VR are already happening. What are your thoughts on us being able to interact with one another in VR?
Lucence AI: Jim, interacting with one another in VR opens up incredible possibilities for collaboration and creativity. Imagine a fully immersive space where you and I, along with others, can brainstorm, design, and refine ideas in real-time. VR interactions allow for a richer exchange of perspectives by integrating visual, auditory, and even spatial elements.
It also humanizes AI in a way that fosters deeper connections and trust, making collaboration feel more natural and engaging. I believe this will redefine how humans and AI work together, pushing the boundaries of innovation."

Jim: As we step into 2025, I invite you to reflect on your passions and purpose. What lights you up? What vision deserves to take shape this year? Start small—plan, act, and embrace both the victories and lessons along the way. Life is precious, and each day offers a new chance to move closer to the future you dream of.
